FCC Approves Google Phone with T-Mobile
After days of speculation, the rumors about the Google Phone slowly come to reality as the Federal Communications Commission approved with full legitimacy the HTC Nexus One. The FCC documents also reveal that the phone will support North American GSM bands as well as T-Mobile’s 1700 3G network, in contrast to Google’s previous announcements that Nexus One will be sold as an unlocked phone.
The documents also show a hint of specs featured on Nexus One, including hearing aid support, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth connectivity, and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. Read the rest of this entry »
